We train on Tuesday nights, from 6.30pm at Bristol Park in Te Rapa. Handlers usually start in a beginner class, and then progress through the classes.
Each class is entered by a graduation process and you will not progress to the next class until your have achieved the basic skills needed from the earlier classes, all at the discretion of our experienced instructors and head trainer.

Beginner puppy obedience focuses on developing a good foundation for basic obedience, building a strong bond between you and your puppy as well as helping to establish good puppy manners. We can also assist with toilet training, feeding, and other helpful tips for coping with the newest member of your family.
These classes have been developed especially for young, fully vaccinated puppies and offer more than just socialisation and playgroup sessions; think of it as the next step after puppy pre-school. This Beginner Puppy class has been designed & structured by our experienced obedience trainers. The goal is to ensure a solid foundation is established for these young dogs and is intended to be an introductory step to our Beginner Adult Class.
Beginner Adult handlers get a good foundation for teaching their dog basic obedience. We train you how to train your dog. We focus on improving the bond between you and your dog. Cover how to walk on a loose lead, and work towards having a dog that comes back when it’s called. Other basic obedience commands which are covered are: sit, down, stay, wait, come, and heel (this is not a complete list of what is taught in the course and is a guideline only). These courses have been designed and structured by our experienced obedience trainers where each step builds on the last. A full 10-week commitment is strongly recommended to ensure you achieve the most out of the class.
